APPARATUS STUDIO, ACT I
While employed at Apparatus Studio, one of my projects as the Director of Special Projects was the design strategy and execution of our new showroom. Located on 30th Street in Manhattan inside an old school gymnasium. This 10,000+ sq ft full gut renovation consisting of 2 showrooms, full production, finishing & logistics departments, private & shared offices, ADA & staff bathrooms, conference & meeting areas, kitchen and private terrace.

APPARATUS STUDIO, ACT II
Once in the new space for a year, we decided to re-design the 2 showrooms in order to reflect the new product offerings. This included applying a hand dyed grid to the carpet, brass mesh covered desks, custom marble urn and pedestal, custom valance/drapery, framing out the interior of door openings, bold monochromatic stripes and breaking the sight lines of the walls with wallpaper and molding.
